We are happy you are here! There are so many amazing things to see and unique opportunities to explore and enjoy in the D.C. area. I hope you will take advantage of our outdoor events, Coffee Connects, family programs, exclusive ticket opportunities, and so much more and join us as we celebrate this area and the military and Veteran families who live here.
I am Julie Riggs, the Executive Director of the chapter and a Navy veteran spouse. During my husband’s 26 years in the Navy, my family has lived and traveled all over the globe. Today I am very glad to call the D.C. area my home and to welcome other military-connected families to this unique area. I have a passion for making sure our service members and their families, past and present, are integrated and empowered by the community in which they live, work, and play. I look forward to sharing supportive resources and programming that are available to you in this diverse region.
