You're invited to participate in Blue Star Families' START (Serving, Thriving, and Reading Together)!  This is a free and unique humanities-based and family-focused program that builds community among military and civilian families with children ages 5 to 13. You'll enjoy four storytelling, reading, and discussion sessions led by a storyteller and story lover, covering award-winning children’s books on topics such as family, courage, and community. At the end of each session, families can stay for dinner or receive a dinner to go so they can continue their discussion of the book club experience.

*Please note that this family reading session takes place over four weeks. We want you and your family to get the most out of this fabulous program, so please plan to attend all the sessions. We know many families will be interested in participating and want to make sure this is something you are committed to doing.
